Email a request for the encrypted forum, the unencrypted forum, or both. Access requires organizer approval.
Ask by email.
Send your request to thelivinghorizon@gmail.com. Include your complete Matrix ID, your choice of encrypted, unencrypted or both forums, and the sections you want.
Your Matrix ID looks like @nickname:matrix.org. Find it in your Element profile. Create your own Matrix account in Element if needed. A nickname is welcome.
The button opens your email app with a draft. Review it and send it yourself. If your device has no email app configured, compose the message in your usual email service.
Your privacy
Ordinary email is not end-to-end encrypted. The Society and its email providers may store this correspondence for access review. Include only the details needed for the request. Keep passwords, recovery keys and personal documents private. See Privacy & media.
What happens next?
Requests are reviewed during the regular twice-daily community checks, subject to availability. Public membership signup is currently paused. Requests will be held for organizer review while membership verification is unavailable.
An email alone does not prove account ownership or grant access. After approval, Element may show an invitation for you to accept. Requesting access does not create a membership or a Matrix account. Membership is always 100% free.
